Wrigley Mansion

The Splendor of the Wrigley Mansion
With cooking demonstration to follow

A Special Spouse Entertainment Program
Thursday, March 29, 2007

We all love Wrigley’s chewing gum, but do you know anything about its creator? Its time to catch up with old friends and make new ones while learning more about one of America’s most famous magnates, William Wrigley Jr. Join us in touring the Wrigley Mansion and learning the history of this magnificent structure, a testament to the enduring traditions of elegance and hospitality. Built in 1932 by William Wrigley Jr., the mansion sits atop a 100-foot knoll with commanding views of the mountains and the city below. Embracing elements of Spanish, California Monterey, and Mediterranean architecture, the mansion stands as a monument to an exceptional elegance and opulence of its original owners, and now it is yours to explore.

Following a tour of the mansion, NIA spouses and guests will enjoy a Southwestern cooking demonstration complete with samples of the cuisine, introducing you to some of the unique flavors and aromas of the Southwest.

Does your life need a little more balance? Would you like to relax in the tranquil environment of the spa at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass? Are you looking for more serenity and perspective? Then join other NIA spouses and guests for an unforgettable morning of hatha yoga.

The resort’s own Aji Spa is proud to host yoga classes in the hatha yoga style, which emphasizes the physical nature of yoga, blending balance, strength, flexibility, and power into a one-session format. While an authentic, mindful approach to yoga is maintained, the accessibility is made optimal through a practical, user-friendly style of instruction. And no matter your fitness level, a successful experience is ensured.

This class will be held outdoors, so be sure to wear loose, comfortable clothes. Join us in experiencing nourishing calm, strength, flexibility, and peacefulness in your body, mind, and soul.
