Sail away on a 60- or 80-foot catamaran, then take to the water to snorkel and explore the amazing marine life that the Bahamas has to offer. The state-of-the-art sailboats depart from the Atlantis Marina and Ferry Terminal and travel to Rose Island Reef. There, guests can swim, snorkel, and explore an undersea world. The water here is unlike anything you’ve ever seen, and this is your chance to jump right in and enjoy.

Snorkeling gear and assistance are provided. Beverages are also available for an additional charge payable by cash on the boat.

Dolphin Encounter

1:30 to 4:30 p.m. (Meet in Royal Tower Lobby at 1 p.m.)

$85 Per Person (Ferry Ride Included)

Swimming with the dolphins is an experience you will never forget. This rare opportunity allows guests to get up close and personal, actually touching and interacting with these amazing creatures. Guests will gather around a specially designed platform and stand in waist-deep water to interact with the dolphins as they sing, tail walk, and accept hugs and kisses from their visitors. This hands-on experience is a delight for everyone who participates.

There is a 30-minute boat ride from the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal to this program on Blue Lagoon Island. Photos and videos can be purchased there. Please remember to bring a towel.

Note: The Atlantis also offers two interactive dolphin programs that are open to the public at its Dolphin Cay. Availability is limited. To inquire about reservations and pricing, please contact Dolphin Cay at 800-285-2684.

The passengers can become the crew in this impressive excursion: You’ll be encouraged to take the helm and exert energy on the grinders. If you prefer a more relaxing experience, you can simply sit back and watch the action as you sail around Paradise Island with the breeze in your face and panoramic ocean views surrounding the boat.
