Air Travel Options
Your best option is to fly into Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers, Florida, located 13 miles north of the resort. Airlines offering nonstop service into RSW—18 in all—include American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and US Airways. Several travel websites offer airfare discount and comparison tools; look for more information on www.kayak.com, www.orbitz.com, www.expedia.com, or your preferred travel website. Other options include flying into Tampa, 150 miles from Bonita Springs, or Fort Lauderdale/Miami, 115–130 miles from Bonita Springs.
Taxi service from RSW is available outside the terminals. Fares are determined by preset zones for up to three passengers. Approximate fare to the hotel is $35; each additional passenger is $10.
Several companies offer car service from the airport to the Hyatt. Pricing ranges from $75–$85, inclusive of tax and gratuity, for one-way service for up to three passengers and luggage. Resort Transportation to Big Hickory Island Beach, Dining, and Shopping
The resort offers transportation to the following areas as a part of the resort fee.
- Big Hickory Island Beach – a 20-minute boat shuttle/ferry to the private island departs from the Coconut Point Marina about every 30 minutes. The boat runs daily from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Raptor Bay Golf Club and Coconut Point Marina – a trolley or van is available to transport you to these locations.
- Coconut Point Mall – a shuttle to the mall is available Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Please see the hotel concierge upon arrival for a schedule, as times vary each day.
