Registration Information

NIA’s 59th Annual Convention is open to NIA members, Thermal Insulation Association of Canada (TIAC) members, and non-members in the mechanical insulation industry. Click here for a schedule of events including committee meetings, networking opportunities, evening events, golf tournament, spouse programs, and optional tours.

NIA Payment/Discount Policy

Registration Fees

Convention registration fee includes 3 full dinners, 3 nights of entertainment, all educational sessions, committee meetings and spouse/guest activities.

Optional Registration

2014 Convention Cutter and Buck Shirt (green) — $55 plus shipping and handling (features the NIA and Indian Wells Golf Club logos). The deadline for ordering convention shirts is February 7.

Round Robin Tennis Tournament (April 4) — $52 per player (includes court rental, tennis balls, water and a light snack)

Shotgun Golf (April 4) — $219 per player (includes box lunch, GPS golf carts, and golf bag pick-up and return on the day of the tournament). Calloway golf club rentals are available for $65 and must be pre-reserved and billed to your Hyatt reservation. Please include this information when registering.

Spouse/Guest Programs — Pre-registration is recommended for programs included in the spouse/guest registration fee, including the Gems and Breakfast presentation on Thursday, April 3; instructor-led LaBlast Fitness Ballroom Dancing on Friday, April 4; and the morning water aerobics on Saturday, April 5. There is no additional fee for registered spouses and guests to attend these programs.


Payment Information

Secure Online Credit Card Payments
http://archive.insulation.org/images/credtcards.jpgAmerican Express, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted online via secure payment method at the conclusion of the online registration process. Cards supporting the additional security code (typically a three-digit number on the back of your card) must have this number entered as well, for security reasons. You will be asked for your billing address, which will be compared to the address on file with your credit card company for maximum online security.

Upon completion of registration and payment, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.

Fax, Phone, or Mail
Registration will not be complete until payment has been received by NIA. You may send us a check, call the office with your credit card number at 703-464-6422, or fax your payment information to 703-464-5896. Registration Policies

Payment in U.S. funds must accompany the registration form. Make checks payable to NIA, sent to 12100 Sunset Hills Road, Suite 330, Reston, VA 20190.

Convention Registration Fee Refunds
All refund requests MUST be made in writing. Refunds will be disbursed as follows: Before February 7, 2014: full refund; after February 7, 2014: 50% registration fee refunded; after March 7, 2014: 25% registration fee refunded; after March 28, 2014: no refund available.

Tennis Tournament Fee Refunds:

Golf Tournament Fee Refunds
Full refund available until March 7, 2014. After March 7, 2014, there will be no tournament refunds.
